Aircraft of the Bush Country

deHavilland DHC-2 Beaver

This is the aircraft that took Chuck and me to our river float destination.

Broussard MH-1521

This French light plane, as is seen on the visiting aircraft line at Bettles, is owned and flown by a Fairbanks car dealer.

Fairchild C-119 Jet Pack

A C-119 similar to this, but without the jet pack, is the type of craft that was used for my first parachute jump.

Tail-end of a C-119. In the background, to the right, is a Curtiss C-46 Commando

The C-46 was one of the aircraft that was used extensively by Continental Air Service when I was with them in Laos, 1967.
