We are born with the criteria for survival. Emotions and
instincts are things that are passed down to us, written into our DNA like all
of our characteristics. In the human race it is the mind that has evolved for
our highest chance of survival, so our defense mechanism is of a
mental/physical/psychological nature, unlike anything else that we know to have
evolved. The evolution of
the species physically, is controlled by the mental evolution socially. You
cannot fix the physical problem of society with physical solutions, it is the
mental evolution that dictates society and that is what needs to be worked on. Greed exists because of it's ability to aid survival by
pushing a species to strive and acquire more to ensure it's survival. As all
things in the evolution of a species, it developed over time to help ensure
survival, but now humanity is way beyond mere survival, and man is ignorantly
misusing this natural instinct.
The current state of existence is not scary, but a stage
in our evolution. Imagination is a tool for creating new possibilities. It is
not belief. Things like racism exist because people live their lives based on
the belief that different races are inferior. This may be a possibility in the
imagination but it is not truth. Every race has demonstrated great potential,
and similar behavior. Every race has their geniuses, their athletes, etc... and
their weaknesses, their mistakes, their 'dark' sides.
Just because you notice the difference in people does not make you treat them
inappropriately. That is racism, that is ignorance. The only way to treat anyone
is based on who they really, truly are, and this takes getting to know them. I
know that if you take every characteristic that makes up a human being, that the
total weight of a human is generally the same. Everyone has talents, strengths
and weaknesses. When I interact with others I start from that common ground, and
I allow them to teach me who they are. That is fair.
Why does it seem like man is not evolving? A mind can only hold
so much information. Fill it full of beliefs that are not true and how can it
evolve towards the future. The biggest deterrent to man's evolution is his
ability to believe in things that aren't true. Imagination is an extremely
useful tool for humanities growth, but it has to be used wisely. The concept of
reality being chaotic, random... is unbelievable to man because a human mind
cannot even comprehend the number of molecular interactions involved in a short
period of evolution, let alone billions of years. It is more complex than
humanly fathomable.
The truth is the truth, is
the truth.
We have learned that oppression does not work on a species that values
freedom so much. I'm not talking about controlling anyone to get them to
behave the way I want. I'm talking about educating the human race, advancing
their intellect to the point that they make healthy wise decisions on their own,
because they are healthy and happy and in agreement with the rest of the world,
(because the only way is through evolution) unlike the current situation. It is
a delicate balance, this universe, not just chaos, but perfect chaos, developed
after billions of years of interaction and reaction. The human mind is the only
thing I know of that has the ability to observe and make any sense out of it. It
can only be done with great intellect, and great patience, and great wisdom, and
a pure and unadulterated mind. Life is not that bad. The current state of
society may be heartbreaking but it is only temporary. I see the potential of
man and the future of evolution and it is good. Matter can neither be created
nor destroyed, only changed. Life, is about change, not destruction. Sure, some
things don't work so good, and fade into extinction before long, but some things
haven't changed much in billions of years, they work, they survive, like
humanity. 'We are the universe incarnate', we are the absolute perfection of
absolute chaos. It is not about black and white, everything exists somewhere on
a scale between the extremes of the absolute possibility of their existence. As
I said before, the current state of society is caused by ignorance, and can be
rectified (not easily maybe). The biggest problem is man's lack of understanding
of his own emotions, and the devastating effect of living outside of the true
nature of the universe. Just because you understand, and can explain the
nature of the universe doesn't make it any less beautiful, and doesn't give you
power over it, and doesn't take away from all the things left to discover and
explore. You can not put the perfect chaos of the universe on a piece of paper.
That is the universe, not the words.
It's about changing the perspective of the view. It's about
treating the rule as the rule, and the exception to the rule as the exception to
the rule. It's about the truth, and not ignoring any of the influencing factors,
and giving each the consideration it deserves, and the reaction it
deserves. I know that some of the actions of man don't
seem to make sense, on the surface, but if you can take you're mind to the place
they're in, if you can ignore what you know, and consider the emotions of the
person, and their beliefs, their actions do make sense, in their mindset. Pretty
much everything that man believes has some basis on reality. Like I
said before, harmful actions are based on misinterpretation, ignorance if you
will. The solution is education, it is the changing of common opinion. As the
kind of people that understand, it is important to help all understand. "The potential is the point, and the potential is infinite, that is the
point, only the phrasing has changed, to reflect our individual states of
mind"
Communication is the key to understanding, but it is important that everyone
agrees on and uses the the same meanings, especially with words that are
affecting the conscious evolution of the human mind.
