Edge is Neyon and Ripley's uncle, their father's older brother. He is a skilled weapons and armor smith, and also a friend and mission partner of Ren Rosso. During one of their missons, Edge took a bullet in the spine and lost his ability to walk. He spent twenty years in a wheelchair, building weapons but missing the heat of battle he once enjoyed. Thanks to Lighthawk's ingenious, Edge eventually had surgery that restored his ability to walk up to a small limp. To handle this, he carries a cane wherever he goes. Not one to be at any sort of disadvantage, Edge made himself a cane sword, one of the most deceptive forms of self-defense.
