Edwin is the ruler of the Northern Colonies, a band of rebels that now own the area that used to be Canada and live peacefully separate from Ripley Scarlet's America. Edwin, a brave and sometimes reckless warrior, attempted several time to break both Generals Kazpar and Fritz's grip on the country but with minimal success. He views the Luminienne Rebels as helpful allies. He is an old friend of Incubus of the Silver Dragons and is the grandson of Cornelius Maelstrom.
