In Memory Of Samuel D. Coggan

Private First Class Samuel D. Coggan, of San Antonio, Texas, entered the United States Army in November, 2000, completing Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Upon arriving at Fort Hood, Texas on 10 July 2000, PFC Coggan was assigned to the First Cavalry Division Headquarters. After a 10 month stay at Division Headquarters, PFC Coggan was transferred to the 1st of the 7th United States Cavalry Regiment where he served in the Communications Section. PFC Coggan's death left his fellow Troopers and Leaders with a deep sense of loss and sorrow. It is with respect and honor to his memory that the Troopers of the 7th Cavalry bid him Farewell. |
