What the motor looks like before you add your Carbueretor. You can see one side cover is removed to show the timeing belts. Do check out the condition of the belts before you install your motor. Now is the best time to change them if needed. Change them unless you are very comfortable with their condition. You will probably never need to deal with them again. Be sure you get a motor manual for your motor. These motors don't time at TDC like a VW. You should also save the stock flex plate or fly wheel that came on your motor to be able to time it correctly. Your adapter plate will not have the timeing marks you need to set the belts correctly and time your motor. The book will walk you through it.
