Andore was originally going to be called Andre, as Capcom were going to name him after the late wrestler Andre the giant, but Capcom decided to change that after they thought it would be inappropriate.
Posion and Roxy were censored in the SNES version of Final Fight because Nintendo thought they were transvestites.
Cody is supposed to be like Joe from Street Fighter 1.
Originally the Final Fight stars were going to be in Street Fighter 2 but Capcom made totally new characters.
