She is the Mother of all Living things and, according to the Bible, the very substance from which our bodies were fashioned. Allegorically speaking, the bible is not far off. Earth is our anchor, our foundation, the tangible matter in which we grow our roots. Earth blesses us with nourishment and as we take in her gifts, she becomes one with us. When her children leave
their Earthly bodies, they are returned to her womb, buried deep within her. It is here we give back to Earth as our flesh enriches her soil and ensures the the continuation of life for our Decendants.
