CORKY

1. Mark Cawthra - Corky used to be a player for the Sunday side on and off but tended to favour more the Saturday side we once had. He started his career upfront but gradually moved down the pitch as age and booze got hold of him to play centre back, but due to braking his leg two years ago has been told he’ll never play again, which is a shame as he would have been a valuable asset to our team with his great passing of the ball and ability to read a game.

Things you may not know- Corky is one of those people who has fingers in loads of pies and I don’t just mean food which he is an expert eater! If there’s a chance to make a quick buck Corky will be involved. He also has a love for larger ladies so to speak and holds the record of getting a bird in and out of a house. I’ve heard he arrived one night at one of our lads houses with his now famous emergency bird at the start of ‘Live forever’ and had finished sent her packing before the end of the song! That is quick impressive work!
