REMOVER is a Heavy Melodic Rock Quartet that formed in June of 2000. Comprised of members formerly of prominent Midwestern bands, REMOVER has unified their individual talents and collective vision to create undeniably genuine and powerful music. The wells of creative resources and ability that REMOVER draws from, to pour into their art, generally leaves one-dimensional rock bands with a taste of envy.

Brett (Vocals/Bass) & Jer (Vocals/Guitar) knew that when their former band, Post-Hardcore Quartet "DROPNICKEL", came to an end that it was not the end of the music they would create nor the end of their lifelong dreams/pursuits. Jeff (Drums/Vocals), formerly of the Modern Rock Quintet "LEVEE", & Dennis Asher (Vocals/Lead Guitar), formerly of the Progressive Rock Trio "COLD CRANKING AMPS", felt the same way. By connecting with each other through ads in local music rags & word of mouth the four came upon a remarkable connection.

Nominated for "BEST HARD ROCK RECORDING" by the Minnesota Music Academy, REMOVER's debut BLUE WORM RECORDS release, "BREAKDOWN BARRIER" (recorded with former lead guitarist Mark Betthauser) released in December 2000, has sat on the KCSU (Ft. Collins, CO) College Radio charts for the past 16 Weeks spending 4 of those at #1. REMOVER has received local airplay on Commercial Rock Radio Station 93X and recently charted the #3 slot on 93X's "LOUND N LOCAL TOP 3 OF THE WEEK."

REMOVER has been included on performances with the likes of NICKELBACK, FROM ZERO, MARKY RAMONE, NASH KATO, PANSY DIVISION, TRIBE 8, and ARMY OF FRESHMAN.

There are no tricks, gimmicks, or illusions with REMOVER. Just powerful, emotional, and melodic Rock and Roll.
