The mid-70s brought about two phenomena in Punk-Rock and Disco-Music. Disco was the first genre to use electronically synthesized instruments for mass scale music. Punk rock had a greater impact because of the emergence of thousands of independant record labels encouraging underground artists. The Seventies were mostly a quiet age, different from the carefree spirit of the Sixties. |
