Tim Explains Sickle Cell Anaemia

When you have Sickle Cell Anaemia your red blood cells cannot flow easily around the body.
  • They clump together
  • Block blood vessels
  • Reduce oxygen (O2) and blood flow, which causes pain.
This is called a crisis. A crisis can happen in any part of the body.
