Info: Hanska is one of the oldest carriers and was designed, and some were even built, before the H'Vos conflict. Before the H'Vos conflict they used to wipe out pirates and/or escort some transports. Hanskas became excellent carriers and became the main carrier before the H'Vos conflict. Even in the H'Vos conflict Hanskas were many times used to drop fighters to some area and then leave the area until the mission had been accomplished. Hanskas used "Hyperdrive" as their Faster Than Light drive. Many Hanskas were built and destroyed during the H'Vos conflict, still a lot of them continued their service after the conflict. Again they were used to wipe out pirates, but during that time one Hanska was ambushed and destroyed by several pirate groups. Few Hanskas were in the first Bacterian war, but they were either destroyed or decommissioned then.

Info: The Syphoon class light carriers were introduced in the beginning of the first gigerdian civil war. There were a small group of these carriers made, which was a good idea. The first to come out of the construction line, was the “Lexinton” and the “Intrepid” which were both captured by Kyle Gigerdi’s forces just before the launching of the Population transport the “Hope”. It was one of the first full carriers the Gigerdians have ever made, it had a hangar that went through the whole ship.
In that hangar, there were several wings of fighters parked on the deck. Where the pilots could quickly run to them in case of a scramble alarm. The Syphoon's weaponry wasn’t so great, but it could stand its ground easily against Dominion fighters. It was very slow, but could destroy medium capital ships. The Syphoon’s bridge was a clear tower in the back of the ship, usually it was taken down first. After the destruction of the “Intrepid” and the “Lexinton” in the same battle against the Dominion, the official government decided to make some more of these carriers. The Syphoon is very old, but there are several of these still around in the fleets of the GA, heavily modified of course. Also, the Hephaestus republic has acquired one of the Syphoon classes.

Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: One large Antimatter reactor and two medium fusion reactors.
Info: Saratoga was made about 10 years before the Gorg war begun. It's quite unclear that why the carrier even was made. Apparently only two of these carriers ever came out of the dock since the others were canceled, the reason why this was done remains unknown. G.F.S. Saratoga was somehow destroyed, it's unknown who actually destroyed it since it had full fighter bays at that time. Somehow the ship just exploded leaving only debris behind. The second Saratoga class was found drifting in space with the whole Crew dead, apparently something killed them, but it was never found out who, or if it was it was never told to public. That might have lead to the end of the Saratoga classes, but it cannot be confirmed since GF military never gave any good explanation of why Saratogas were abandoned. The second Saratoga was self-destructed because it was feared it might hold some secrets that might not do good to the Gigerdi Federation. Saratoga's story was really short.

Cargo space: 140 m³
Capability of atmospheric flight: No
Info: So far, only a few of these new Bionic Commander Class Carriers have been pulled out of the docks and into full service. The ship is designed as a fast carrier, mainly against the Emissaries and their ships, in theory, the Bionic Commander will provide fast support to bigger GA ships with its drone fighter squadrons. The Bionic commander has several new GA-invented weapon systems, also designed to carry the new UFP-GA made Fighters. One of the main reasons for the design of the Bionic Commander is, that the GA Fleet command needed a supplement to their aging and weak Syphoon-class carrier fleet(Or the remains of it). This ship design will soon be the new primary carrier of the GA fleets.

Min. Crew: 2
Cargo Space: 500 m³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and one large fusion reactor.
Info: Andromeda class was designed because of the growing need of a carrier and more powerful carrier than the previous ones. Andromeda was that. It was not much anything else except an upgraded version of the Hanska, Ogaitinsha and Saratoga. Andromeda was first introduced during the Gorg war, it was designed a little before it. In the Gorg war, Andromedas were the primary carriers because many different carriers weren't available at that time. Andromedas used to do the quick strike operations during the Gorg war, which meant that an Andromeda jumps in, launches all fighters and then jumps out again. Andromedas were really useful during the Gorg war and even in the Dominion war where they already had become a bit outdated. Still about five of these carriers survived from the war and were not decommissioned. In the Lightness war, these carriers didn't get the new jump drive since three of them were destroyed in the first battles with Lightness forces and the last two were then decommissioned.

Min. Crew: 2
Cargo Space: 375 m³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and one large fusion reactor.
Info: Liberty is an old carrier as well and none no longer fly in the Gigerdi Alliance's military. Liberty was designed 5 years before the Gorg war. Its first battle was in the Gorg war, where it was an excellent addition to the GF's carrier fleet, which wasn't at least too big at that time. Though Andromedas did took the place of the Liberties during the Gorg war, but still the higher number of the Liberties made them to be the most used carrier during the Gorg war. Liberties were really maneuverable and fast, which made them even a quite good combat ship. Liberties did battle with their fighters on several occasions in the Gorg war and scored many victories. The most notable one was the victory when a single Liberty class and its fighter squadrons destroyed two Gorg destroyers, without loosing too many fighters. Liberties still served in the Gigerdi Federation military for years in the bacterian war and in the Dominion war, but those where its last conflicts. Liberties had served the GF well and even in the secession war where multiple Liberties joined to the Kyle Gigerdi's Gigerdi Federation. Liberties also served in the Dominion war, though many of them had already been either destroyed or decommissioned. After the Dominion war all Liberties were decommissioned, some may have been changed to orbital museums.

Envoy Class Medium Carrier
Engines: Five heavy impulse engines.
FTL drive: Warp drive.
Size length: 2 km
Size width: 800 m
Armor: Average cap ship armor.
Weapons: Two heavy Incinerator Beams, four medium Incinerator Beams, 17 light Incinerator Beams, two missile launchers and one torpedo launcher.
Shields: Energy shields 40 000
Special Equipment: None.
Fighters: 120 fighters.
Max. Crew: 4 000
Norm. Crew: 600
Min. Crew: 2
Cargo Space: 300 m³
Capable of landing to planet: No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: Two large Antimatter reactors and one large fusion reactor.
Info: Envoy is also quite old design. It was designed during the Dominion war. Although it wasn't so powerful and didn't have so much fighters it still was able to score victories in the Dominion war. Envoys were also in the Gigerdian secession war, where Envoys used to hunt down lone ships that were loyal to Kyle Gigerdi. Envoys were quite good in that since they succeeded in their missions many times. Envoys were also used quite a lot in the Lightness war, where they weren't so good, but apparently enough good for the GA to use them. Several Envoys never came back from the Lightness war. Envoys continued to be in service even after the Lightness war ended and several of them have been seen on all of the past conflicts. Currently the only bad side in Envoys are that they use warp drive.

Ogaitinsha Class Heavy Carrier
Max. Crew: 157
Min. Crew: 57
Length: 920 m
Weapons: Four medium beam laser batteries and Two missile launchers.
Shields: Energy Shields 43 000
Special Equipment: None.
Fighters: 222 fighters.
Cargo space: 238 m³
Capable of landing to planet:
No.
Capable of atmospheric flight: No.
Info: The Ogaitinsha class heavy carrier was used during the “H’vos” conflict, the ship was named after the soon to be emperor Ogaitinsha. There were only one of these made, but more were scheduled to be constructed. The Ogaitinsha class carrier's name was the “Sheppard”, which carried many fighters against the H’vos forces invading Gigerdi territories. It was decommissioned soon after the end of the “H’vos” conflict for parts to other ships. The ship had two big fission reactors as its power source, it used hyperdrive as its jump drive. The weaponry was enough at that time to stop H’vos transports from escaping the area. It was decided that there would be no more Ogaitinsha carriers constructed due to their awful price and time. The Design is at least 230 years old.

Info: Ki'isha was designed because of the growing need of more powerful carrier especially when the Lightness war begun. Ki'ishas were mass produced during the Lightness war and about 40 of them were finished during the war. Ki'ishas immediately proved that they are the best carrier currently in service and that they could defeat several Lightness ships. Ki'ishas also even have quite good firepower, though they can't take out any big ship alone. Ki'ishas have a lot of fighters and even have quite good shielding, which can protect it quite well. Ki'ishas were seen in all of the past conflicts and currently there's about 51 Ki'ishas in service.
