Counsellors Office - Deck 12
The Counsellor of USS Iliad is Lieutenant Ana Falling Rain. The role of the counsellor is a medical one although not in the role of physical healing, more in the role of mental healing. Her quarters therefore are situate on Deck 12 close to the Primary sickbay and other medical sections.
The Counsellors quarters are relatively small and similar to most of the living quarters on USS Iliad. The modern day picture of a psychologist with the couch is far removed from the reality in the 24th Century, working on the premise that patients are more relaxed in familiar surroundings Starfleet in designing the Galaxy class starship designed an office that can easily be altered to reflect the mood, circumstances and lifestyle of the person being counselled.
