The Night
Silvius
"Good night, traveler. I am Silvius, guardians of the night, wisdom
and mental strength. I am the protector of this realm. Here, the night
is eternal and we revel in the beauty of the moon and the stars at all
hours. It is always peaceful here, and always calm and quiet, despite the
many joyous campfire celebrations. Please join us in the worshiping of
the night's peace and beauty, but I beg of you, leave all you see here
where there are, because this is their home and they do not belong anywhere
else. Thank you for understanding; it would be very foolish of you indeed,
to do so anyway. So please, continue."
Silvius came from here.
The Man in the Moon
From Favorite Poems for Children
The Man in the Moon as he sails the sky
Is a very remarkable skipper.
But he made a mistake
When he tried to take
A drink of milk from the Dipper.
He dipped right into the Milky Way
And slowly and carefully filled it.
The Big Bear growled
And the Little Bear howled,
And cared him so he spilled it.
