“Two”

Charles Bronson gets most of the screen time here.  Still, Elizabeth Montgomery was a presence to reckon with on television and film.  Why her success did not transfer to the big screen is one of those real mysteries.   As the ageless Samantha of “Bewitched”, her timing for comedy seemed to be innate.  Comedy isn’t pretty.  It isn’t easy either.  Good comedians often are great dramatic actors.  Look for the late Miss Montgomery in at least two made for television pics that are very good.

“Two” is really gritty and that the female character is mute gives it a haunting quality--  almost prophetic.  Miss Montgomery is unforgettable as the female soldier with no name.

MORE ON ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY

One of the things I learned from doing this is that Elizabeth Montgomery is one of the most beloved television actresses in television history.  Her role in “Bewitched” seems to have enchanted the world.  In all of the actresses and actors I have ever researched on the Net, she has more fan sites dedicated to her memory than anyone I have ever seen.  It is amazing.  Only Lucy and Carol Burnett come close to the way she is idolized.  They only come close.

I guess her fans would have my head if she were not on my list.  Some of you probably think she should be higher.  Her work on “Bewitched” cannot be counted.  It is an area that I have done a little research in and it falls under paranormal science, not science fiction.  It is also rightfully placed under the Occults.  I see the Occults as falling under paranormal sciences, but you may get an argument there.

I list each stars links and/or sites about them on my links page.  This was a monster job ….  So that the links of Miss Montgomery do not dominate my links page, I have put them here.
