Parents' Poems

Sharon's Poems

Sharon's dad sent me this poem to place on our page.
Georgieanna was Sharon's beautiful daughter who died from Chronic Lung Disease.
You may visit Georgieanna's site at Graham's Family Pages.

MY GEORGIEANNA.

It’s 4 am in the morning
But sleep is far from me.
You my little Georgieanna
Are in everything I see.

You my beautiful daughter
Left a hole that can’t be filled.
I loved you before you were born
And I love you still.
And no matter how fast time passes
I know I always will.

Your life had meaning and value
And great was the pain.
I would not have missed it
Because having you was my greatest gain.

I think of you daily
You are in my every thought.
It seems you lost your battle
You so desperately fought.

Now all the months I carried you
They seem not so distant at all.
For you were so tiny and fragile
So small yet full of life.

You were born, with out a cry
Without a single sound.
But two breaths were taken
And you were kicking around.

With everyday passing
You improved and grew.
You had something special
That everybody knew.

I know that you are in heaven
And there for me you’ll wait.
One day sweet Georgieanna
I’ll meet you at the gate.

But until that day comes
We are not apart.
Because my little Georgieanna
You will always be in my heart.

Written for my darling little daughter
Georgieanna May Hauff– Green,
born to life. 26-8-99
Born to Eternal life. 4-4-2000.
Cutest little Angel in Heaven
May you rest in peace in the arms of
Your Daddy
Sweetheart lots of love always
