Probably in another month or so, the goslings are going to be taught how to fly. That's exciting to behold. First they fly in little circles around the lake, but in the fall, they will fly in formation to nearby West Medical or Silver Lake.

	If you look closely, in the center of the picture on the right is a turtle basking among this yellow growth.  Æ

This Sunday, June 22nd, we spotted another Mallard female with at least three or four babies. When the mother saw us coming down the walk, she quickly herded her brood out to the safety of the lake's center.
