The Human race becomes exceedingly evil

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

We see humans where growing greatly in number, that would be expected, since people would live 900 plus years and have children every year. The Gene pool was perfect there were no errors in the DNA, as we have now, so the population would have grown faster than what we can even imagine.

Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The "sons of God" here are angels, in fact they are fallen angels because they have left heaven (because there is no marriage there), came to earth and saw that the daughters of men were fair (or very beautiful).

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

God was very angry at this situation and he began shortening men's life span at this time.

Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

In the above verse we see the angels again and that they had sexual relations with human women. Their offspring became mighty men of old, men of renown. This describes the start of men like Hercules and Mercury. They had powers above ordinary men, so they were remembered by some as gods.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The evil was great in the human population at this time, because of the seeds of angels had mixed with the seeds of human women.

The Descendants of Adam
and their ages

In Genesis 6:9 we find "that Noah ... was Perfect in his generations.." He was pure human, without any angel blood.

Here the word perfect is used for the Hebrew word- taw-meem', which means - without blemish, perfect, without spot, or undefiled.

Noah also knew the creation story well, because he knew many of his grand fathers.

Here is a time line given from the book of Genesis to clarify this point.

Genesis 5:8-9 tell us the ages of the descendants of Adam.

Adam lived 130 years and begat Seth. Adam lived 930 years
Seth lived 105 years and begat Enos. Seth lived 912 years
Enos lived 90 years and begat Cainan. Enos lived 905 years
Cainan lived 70 years and begat Mahalaleel. Cainan lived 910 years
Mahalaleel lived 65 years and begat Jared. Mahalaleel lived 895 years
Jared lived 162 years and begat Enoch. Jared lived 962 years
Enoch lived 65 years and begat Methuselah. Enoch lived 365 years
Methuselah lived 187 years and begat Lamech. Methuselah lived 969 years
Lamech lived 182 years and begat Noah. Lamech lived 777 years (died in the flood)
Noah was 600 years old when the world wide flood began, killing all living things on the earth that have breath.

These are real years, not months, because if they were months, Enoch would of had a son when he was only 5 years old!
