#5 - Jesse "Boom Boom" Barabas

When one thinks of the name MOBO, instantly BOOM BOOM comes to mind. Jesse is synonimous with Winning. He was the leader in the dressing room, he was the heart and soul of every team he dawned their jersey. Jesse grew up playing hockey in the backstreets of his suburban neighborhood. He was usually the little guy in the group so learning the game of hockey wasn't always easy, his father enrolled him in the WHL camp where his skills emerged. He instantly began scoring 50 goal seasons and reaching 100 points was not an unreal mark. He went 4th overall in the '89 entry draft!!! He never looked back leading the Vipers to a championship in their expansion season. He now is gone from the game and quietly lives at home with his wife and 3 kids. He will surely be missed by all, and #5 will forever be remembered as BOOM BOOM.
