Jupiter is a planet that has many satellites orbiting it. Sixty one to be exact. However, only sixteen of these are moons. The four major moons of Jupiter are Europa, Ganymede, Io, and Callisto. It has been recently found that Europa has traces of water, meaning that it may have life! In fact, the satellite Galileo recently has purposely been destroyed to avoid contamination of the moon.
