Thriller of the summer
South Africa's two-run defeat of New Zealand at the Gabba
- 300 to 298.
Catch of the series
Lance 'Zulu' Kluesner's dismissal of New Zealand's Dion Nash
to the last ball of the Gabba match. Racing around the mid-wicket
boundary, the ball soaring in the lights, he held a wondrous
catch.
Unluckiest stroke award
Needing six runs to tie the above game with two balls remaining,
Nash hooked the second-last ball to fine leg, landing it on
the rope boundary, consisting of two overlapping rope spans.
Correctly awarded four runs.
Non-catch of the series
Nash, so intent on preventing a boundary near the rope, controlled
a magnificent catch in the deep at the Gabba, returned the
ball and omitted to appeal...
