Site Updates for 2003

August 17, 2003
I've added a link to the Dion Nash Doll at one of my other websites, Fun with Black Caps.

July 20, 2003
News and Links updated.

July 1, 2003
I've put up the text of the Women's Weekly special on Dion and Bernice's wedding.

June 20, 2003
I hereby mark four years of maintaining the world's largest online archive about one New Zealand cricketer. Seems like forever, but then again that's only the interlude between World Cups.

June 1, 2003
I've reorganised the Articles page slightly, adding a "post-retirement" section, and two new articles, "Nash's words of wisdom lift Vincent" (from April) and "Nash bowled over by new TV role", about Nash's latest role as an interviewer for new sports show Sportzah! Many thanks to Jo for sending me that article and the accompanying photo, which I've put in the Post-Retirement gallery page. P.S. if anyone in NZ would consider taping this show for me, please email me to discuss (dion_nash_site@hotmail.com).

May 4, 2003
I've added a couple of articles to the archive: "Nash the young swinger who can tip Test balance", from the England 1994 tour, and the rather improbable "Sensational Nash ready to fill Fleming's boots" from December 1997.

May 2, 2003
News updated.

April 13, 2003
I've made a new photo gallery with some of the Womens Weekly pictures from Dion Nash's wedding to Bernice Mene. I have therefore removed the blurry 'unauthorised' wedding shot from the post-retirement Gallery page.

April 10, 2003
News updated.

March 21, 2003
Article from 1999, "Nash the quintessential team man", added. It's a nice piece, I'm not sure how I missed it for so long!

March 18, 2003
News updated.

March 16, 2003
I gave in and created a 2003 News page for information about Nash's post-cricket career and anything else relevant that I happen to hear about. I have also reinstated the Facts page, with a few additions, corrections and a lot of deletions. Anyone wanting to know about Nash's injuries or the narrative of his career should now refer to the Player Profile or Career Review (which is ear-marked for an upate); if you want to know about Nash's hobbies, education or best bowling figures, try the Facts page.

March 1, 2003
Links updated. And by the way, for those who haven't heard yet, Dion and Bernice's wedding features on the cover of the Australian Women's Weekly - NZ Edition for March.

February 22, 2003
One photo (of Nash and Scott Styris in Northern Districts colours) added to the Old Photos gallery page and one to the Retirement page.

February 18, 2003
I've updated the following Gallery pages: Old Photos (2 & 3), Photos from 1999-2000, and Photos from Nash's retirement and beyond. Thanks to Jo for sending me the wedding photo and the photo of Nash celebrating the wicket of Chanderpaul.

February 2, 2003
Some new-old articles added: "Nash's agony seemingly never ending" (January 2002), "Nash to rescue as Auckland recover from 5-wicket slump" (December 2001) and "Mills and Nash turn match on its head" (January 2001). Also (as I wasn't exactly in the position to drop off a card at Stadium Southland!) I've taken this opportunity to wish Dion Nash and Bernice Mene a very happy marriage.

January 25, 2003
I've added a tribute to Dion Nash's career written by Alaister, a 15-year-old fan. Thanks Alaister! Of course, if anyone else feels so inspired as to write an article about Nash, just send it to me and I will gladly put it on the site.

January 24, 2003
Yes, I have faithfully (redundantly?) created a 2003 updates page... force of habit I guess. I've added a photo to the "post-retirement" gallery page and the related article, concening Nash's cameo in a celebrity cricket match. I have also taken down the Facts page (which I actually meant to delete a while ago), but I intend to replace it with a better, corrected, up-to-date one.

...If it's been a while since you last visited, you may wish to view older updates.
