Two of New Zealand's leading sportspeople, netballer Bernice Mene and cricketer Dion Nash, are an item. mene has gone to Hamilton to watch all-rounder Nash play in the first cricket test against the West Indies. She was also with Nash when the Black Caps met a Canterbury XI in Christchurch this week. Auckland based Nash, 28, has been a regular in the Black Caps in recent seasons while Mene who hails from Christchurch, lives in Southland where she plays her netball. She has been a long-serving member of the Silver Ferns and a former New Zealand captain.
