Team History

Oromo Qeransa soccer team was established in 1996 by dedicated sport
loving Oromo youth, to revive and develop the rich Oromo sport,
culture, tradition and develop good sportsman relation among the
Oromo Community in general and the Oromo youth in particular. Since
it’s establishment, Qeransa become one of the best team in
the Northwest, participated in Oromo soccer tournament in 2001 and
2002 in Minneapolis Minnesota, and had hosted many local games in
the region. Recently, our team is preparing to join Oromo soccer
tournament 2003 in Seattle, WA.
