You are my music
Sometimes you’re JAZZ---
Passionate and Spontaneous,
Making me feel alive in ways that no one
and nothing else can.
Sometimes you’re the BLUES---
Honest and Real,
Knowing where I’m coming from,
Sensing what I really feel deep down inside. |
Sometimes you’re GOSPEL---
Warm and Comforting,
lifting me up and taking me higher.
You are the one who makes my heart dance
just by being near.
And when we are apart, you stay with me
Like a love song I play over and over in my mind.
You are my music.
You are my only love.

PRAYER FOR EACH OTHER
Keep us, Oh lord, from pettiness. Let us be thoughtful in word and deed. Help us to put away pretense and face each other in deep trust without fear or self-pity. Let us be done with fault-finding and be quick to discover the best in every situation. Guard us from ill temper and hasty judgement. Encourage us to take time for all things, to grow calm, serene and gentle. Help us to be swift with kind words. Teach us never to ignore, never to hurt, never to take each other for granted. Engrave charity and compassion on our hearts.
What would it mean if
I'd be a man of great fame and fortune,
he who can get with just a flick of his fingers everything and anything but a
wife like you?
Whenever I hit the bottom line,
it is to realize as always
that life is meaningless without you.
I love you
This poem was given to me by my husband on valentine's day 2001
MARRIAGE is an act of faith in which one person puts the meaning and happiness of his life into the hands of another. It is a gift of oneself. The acceptance of the gift depends on the other. Even when the gift is accepted, there is no guarantee that things will turn out well or that love will endue. But if each person works honestly and sincerely to be the best person he can be, there is reason to believe the union will succeed. Durability will depend on how successfully the couple can harmonize all the aspects of their life together.
Basically, marriage is a human relationship. Given good will and openness to GOD, there is hope that if one fails, He will not fail forever, if one is hurt, He will heal. This calls for faith in oneself and faith in the other.
