Cruelty Investigations
Fayette County Animal Rescue investigates allegations of cruelty and neglect
to domestic and equine animals in Fayette County, TN. Although the caller’s
identity is kept confidential, we must have a name and phone number in order for
the investigator to contact them if the animal is not found or an incorrect
address was given.
Injured Animal Rescue
One of the most significant services provided by Fayette County Animal Rescue
is the rescue and care of injured animals in Fayette County, TN. All animals are taken to a
veterinarian for medical care. After a 72 hour owner search, unless their
injuries are too severe to be treated, the animal is placed at Fayette County
Animal Rescue for adoption.
Lost & Found Program
Every animal adopted from FCAR gets a free lost and found tag. We then log in
the new owner’s name address and phone number along with the tag
identification number. We have had a 100% success rate in finding missing
animals.
Adoption Program
All of our rehabilitated rescues are available for a $95.00 adoption fee.
This fee is a fraction of the amount spent to ensure each animal is healthy and
well adjusted prior to adoption. Each animal is carefully checked by a licensed veterinarian. Pets will be
current on vaccinations and spayed/neutered.
Requirements for adoption are three personal references and one vet reference if you are a previous dog owner. For a list of our adoptable animals, click here.

Rescue Angels
Tail tucked
between your legs,
Confusion in your eyes-
I know it's hard to understand
That Someone heard your cries. |
|
The medicine
to make you well
Good food to make you strong,
And finally to help you learn,
That hugs are never wrong. |
When
loneliness is all you know
and pain is all you feel-
And no one can be trusted,
And hunger's all too real. |
|
The perfect
place then must be found-
The home where you can live
Secure and safe and happy-
With joy to get and give. |
That's the
time the Lord sees you
And lets you know He's there.
That's when He sends His messengers-
The hearts that love and care. |
|
When you
reach your Forever Home,
Your place to feel whole,
The Angels smile, and off they go-
To save another soul |
