It is my goal that all Gomer Pyle fans out there find this site useful. I
grew up watching re-runs of Gomer in the 70s and 80s. When we first got a VCR in
the early 80s, I started recording all the episodes of Gomer Pyle. I remember
the show came on everyday at 4:30. I got home from school around 3:45. I would
eat a snack and then get my VHS Tape ready to record Gomer! During the 80s and
90s, I would watch these tapes all the time...Finally, in 2006-2007 all the
seasons of Gomer Pyle USMC were released on DVD! I bought them all as soon as
they came out. HOWEVER, I was upset that the episodes had been edited and alot
of the music taken out. I so dream that a complete uncut Blu-Ray set will come
out, but I'm not holding my breath on that! I still watch the show all the time
today and I will never stop because its so fun and enjoyable and brings me to my
happy place..I hope everyone enjoys this site and I wish all the best to all my
fellow Gomer Pyle USMC fans out there!
UPDATE 1/12/2024: Gomer Pyle is being released on Blu Ray!!!
Release date is set for 2/13/2024!
Here is the Amazon link! I did not think this would ever happen. HOWEVER,
the new Blu-Rays have the same edited versions as the prior DVD releases. No way
is it worth 90 bucks just for an HD upgrade. I will just wait for the price to
go down..
