Started playing guitar at age 8In first band at age 11Was playing gigs by age 13
Switched to bass at 17 when his friend was forming a band, and they needed a bass player. Eric was asked to play until they found one. He liked it, so he went out, bought a bass, and has been playing ever since.
Was in a lot of bands in Maryland, from new wave to progressive rock to heavy metal. They played both covers and originals
Quit for some time to work with brothers in an air conditioning company
