A stunning sunrise, and a wee bit of a hangover, Dave T and myself set off first to photograph the entry area down to the beach and also catch the other vehicles leaving with a plan to meet up in the village of Madrakka.

Coming up through the wadi to Madrakka village
Dave and I were last to leave the area and soon caught up with Mike, Colin and Oggie who were headed in the wrong direction but could not find the others. Dave Aldis was planning to stop for hydraulic fluid as he had a leak, but we did not see him either.
We drove out of Madrakka up the hill and stopped. Eventually Jon riding with Kaye and Sanjay joined us with Dave Aldis, but we had lost Alex.
After some time waiting we set off leaving Colin and Oggie to wait for Alex
