Back on the hard top we continued southwards at speed and Jon decided to stop at Three Palms Lagoon, which was quite spectacular and would be a great place to camp for any birdwatcher.

After leaving the lagoon we continued further south and diverted to the Pink Lagoon which was a bit of a disappointment but we had some entertainment at the local village with a local Bedu on his camel

From there we continued on to Shuwaymiya via Shelim and found an excellent camp site on the beach
