As we have rented our home for another year, we had better go and tell
our family that they are homeless for another year! So off to Riversdale
… As usual we took the back roads found a great campsite
Bredasdorp Municipal Caravan Park – 06/02/03 – S E – R40 per site
From Bredasdorp we took time out to cross the Breede River on the last
man drawn pont in South Africa.

The conditions of the back roads are not at all bad. We came across some
ostriches which had escaped their pen, and were running amok on the
road. Eventually the Farmer arrived with his two well trained Border
Collies who soon had the ostrich back in their pen. The whole episode
was quite eventful.
We arrived in Riversdale hoping that we could surprise Gareth again … no
such luck we drove right past him in the main street!! Our timing is
perfect as the family were celebrating Vincent’s 21st Birthday over the
weekend.
We had a wonderful weekend with the family. Our family is very precious
to us, and we cherish the time we have to spend with them.

As we have a very important meeting with our other ‘kids’ Jelte and
Anneke, we only had the weekend to enjoy the family. We will be back!
In Mossel Bay our message was waiting – we were to meet the kids at
Victoria Bay just outside George. What a beautiful place.
