Luke and Lucky are still sitting on the steps after Laura left.
Lucky continued to stare off into nowhere while Luke just stared at his
hands. Neither knew what to say.
Luke: So, where do we go from here?
Lucky: Who says we're going anywhere? I'm sorry, but whether or not Mom is willing to look past this, I'm not.
Luke: I understand, but ...
Lucky: But what? What is there that you have to say? You raped my Mom.
Luke: Yes, I did. I won't deny that, Lucky. I do have a question, if you'll listen.
Lucky (looking back at the house): I guess I owe Mom that much.
Luke: Are you staying home? Will you stay even if I'm here?
Lucky: I haven't decided on that. I don't want to worry Mom, Grandma, or Lulu, but I can't imagine myself living under the same roof as you. Not with the man who raped my mother. And I thought the Cassadines were cruel.
Luke: If you want, I'll go.
Lucky: If it was up to me, I would tell you to take off. I'd help you pack just to get you out sooner, but it's not up to me.
Luke: Just say the word.
Lucky: So I can feel guilty if you try to kill yourself again? No way, man. You want to be a bastard, be one without me.
Lucky took off running, trying to get away from his father. He didn't know what he was going to do anymore. He did love that man who he left sitting on the steps, but he also hated him. His life was completely spinning out of control.
Luke watched his son go and started to cry. He didn't know how Lucky would ever trust him again. He couldn't. Luke looked back at the house and knew there was only one option for him to choose. He got up slowly and left, never looking back. It was the only way anyone would be happy again, except for him.
