Phoebe seems to be coping, even after a premonition of Paige's death---at the hands of the same demon that slew Prue. Piper, however, is overwhelmed by the loss, and her crisis comes to a head when she nearly breaks down during the memorial service, as Cole faces off against two demonic bounty hunters sent to kill him.

Phoebe responds to Cole's marriage proposal..

Phoebe is summoned to perform jury duty and is assigned a murder case. Hit with a premonition about the real killer, Phoebe must convince the rest of the jury that the defendant is not guilty, and the only way to do this is to prove the existence of magic.

Wanting to protect a ten year old orphaned boy who a firestarter, Piper and Leo go down to the underworld to kill a demon before he can deliver the kid to The Source. Phoebe is given Gram's wedding ring by Cole, but to their surprise the ring has been cursed to transform the wearer into a traditional 1950's suburban housewife.

The Source breaks an age-old agreement between good and evil by stealing The Hollow, an ancient vapor which he uses to absorb first Piper's and then Paige's powers. Phoebe must allow Cole to help The Charmed Ones in spite of having had a premonition that involved Cole sacrificing his life to save her from evil. The sisters seemingly vanquish The Source, not realizing he has begun to take over Cole's body.

Phoebe develops a case of cold feet over marrying Cole and casts a spell which brings a young innocent Phoebe and an old cynical Phoebe to the Manor to help her make a decision. Cole now finds The Source is taking over his entire being. The Source's chief rival, who believes The Source is dead, is convinced by The Seer to kill The Charmed Ones in order to earn the allegiance of the entire underworld.

Phoebe is hoping that everything will be perfect for her and Cole’s wedding, but doesn’t know that The Source has completely taken over the groom and is sabotaging the ceremony in order to orchestrate a demonic wedding which will allow their foretold son to be heir to the underworld.

Believing Leo left them to die when he was a medic in WWII, two ghosts from Leo's battalion try to exact revenge by killing those close to him. Distraught over the memory of being unable to save everybody in his unit, Leo loses his powers to protect The Charmed Ones. Wanting to separate a potentially pregnant Phoebe from her sisters, Cole makes Phoebe's life at the manor miserable so she will agree to move into an apartment with him.

4.18 "Bite Me" - April 18th on WB April 23th on TNT Hoping to defeat The Source and gain re-entry into the underworld, demonic bats bite Paige. If she in turn bites an innocent, she will become a vampire forever. Cole tries to vanquish the Vampire Queen knowing that her death will kill all her vampires as well. Piper finally begins to suspect that Paige may have been right about Cole working with demons, but before she can say anything she learns that Phoebe is pregnant.

4.19 "We're Off To See The Wizards" - April 25th on WB April 30th on TNT Piper and Paige team up with a magical Wizard (guest star Armin Shimerman, "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine") to stop the coronation of a new Source, not realizing that the new head of the Underworld is Cole and Phoebe is his Evil Queen-to-be. Debbi Morgan ("Eve's Bayou") guest-stars as The Seer and Michael Des Barres (Power Station, "My Guide To Becoming a Rock Star") as the Dark Priest. Also, Phoebe receives her new power, which was seen in "Pardon My Past." And reveals the big news to her sisters and to her husband.

4.20 "Long Live The Queen" - May 2nd on WB May 7th on TNT Phoebe accepts her new role in Cole's life, but she still sets out to save an innocent after she has a premonition. She also seeks her sisters' help in protecting the man. Meanwhile, Piper's heart doesn't seem to be in it as she prepares to defend her family against any new threats from the underworld. Piper succumbs to alcoholism, after it's revealed that Cole is the Source, and Phoebe has another power. Meanwhile, demons chase after a young man named Greg, who helps save young adults from going down the path of evil.

4.21 "Womb Raider" - May 9th on WB May 14th on TNT The Seer enlists the help of a 7 foot, 2 inch demon nobody has figured out how to vanquish to help her magically take the baby from Phoebe and become The Source in the process. The baby inside Phoebe starts to take over her body turning her into an evil creature of instinct, nearly killing three people, including Paige. Piper and Paige must figure out ways to thwart The Seer's plans after The Seer casts a spell to place the unborn baby in her womb.

4.22 Season Finale - "Witch Way Now?" - May 15th on WB May 20th on TNT The Halliwell sisters get an intriguing offer from an Angel of Destiny as the series wraps up its fourth season.The Charmed Ones face a difficult decision when the celestial being tells them they have fulfilled their destiny by vanquishing Cole, the Source of All Evil. As a reward, they may choose to relinquish their powers and demon-fighting responsibilities. Paige initially declines the offer, thinking she speaks for the trio, but Piper and Phoebe are less eager to turn down the deal. Meanwhile, an ambitious FBI agent spies on the sisters after discovering they're listed as witnesses on numerous crime reports.
