Phillip arrived late for class, and wrote Beth a note before he entered the room.

As they got their bearings at a diner in Verona, they decided to go to New York.
They couldn't wait to check out all the artist colonies there and start their new life together.
Before they left, they swapped cars with the waitress to prevent Alan from tracking them.
