GL's Beth, DAYS' Adrienne and AW's Paulina -- three distinctly different characters who have one thing in common: exceptional actress Judi Evans Luciano. Which character is most like you? Paulina. She's tough with a soft heart, believes people but still is a little streetwise, loves Italian men, married one and has babies. Paulina likes to live on the edge, but with enough cushioning not to fall off. Which was least like you? It's funny -- when I played Beth, I was more like Beth. And when I played Adrienne, I was a lot more like Adrienne. Now, I'm much more like Paulina. I could never play Beth now unless she had evolved and changed a lot. Who had the coolest clothes? Paulina. Adrienne had a great wardrobe, but some of it was too nice. Paulina has had the different kinds of wardrobes that Beth and Adrienne had, and then some. When I was really skinny, Paulina had some crazy, hot outfits. Who cried the most? Beth cried the most, then Adrienne, then Paulina. At one point, I actually cried for seven years straight. I'm very close to my [feelings]. I've learned in the last few years to be able to be accessible to my own emotions, but also to keep them cool. But certainly, if I watch a darn Hallmark commercial... Which soap wedding was your favorite? The Greece wedding [on DAYS to Wally Kurth]. The exteriors were taped in Greece, and the interiors were at a Greek Orthodox church in Los Angeles. This church was stunning; it was like a real wedding. And, actually, the first wedding to Jake was pretty fun because we were just hating each other so much. [The second wedding] when Paulina punched him out at the altar was kind of fun, too. Describe your soap husbands. Well, I [didn't get married] on GL. Wally Kurth is really a doll; a sweet, sweet friend, funny and fun. Tommy [Eplin] -- wild, crazy. Working with him was like being on a ride. I didn't have to drive; I got to sit in the back. Joe [Barbara] -- he's another sweetie. I've been very blessed to have generous "husbands" who have been good friends. # Return to Press Index
