I yawned, and stretched my arms
out. I looked around. I didn't know where I was. Then I saw myself
on the Hide-A-Bed couch, and I remembered I was at Diedrich's
house. I couldn't believe this was happening. I was really happy
that Dulcy was alright with it. That was the only thing I was
worried about. But my worrying went away, right when Dulcy was
nice to me, and let me stay. I checked the time. It was only 8:30
AM. Back in Ohio, it would probably be around 11:30 AM. My sister's
friend Mel might be over by now, since the two are so close. The
house was quiet. I couldn't sleep that much anymore, so I cracked
open my Harry Potter book, and read. Pretty soon, Diedrich came
downstairs, but I didn't notice. I was to engrossed in the book
to even notice. Diedrich snuck up on me. He tiptoed very quietly,
and when he reached behind me, he tapped my shoulder. I jumped,
and fell off the bed. Diedrich couldn't help but laugh. So of
course, I had to laugh too. For only 3 minutes we dissolved in
laughter. When our laughter died down, Diedrich told me that I
could have breakfast, and so I did. After that, Diedrich told
me he had to leave for a taping of Drew Carey. So he invited me
to go. I said yes.
"In fact, I'd love to!"
I told him. Diedrich smiled.
"That's good." Diedrich
said.
"And, we might even need
an extra." He said. I looked at him.
"You're kidding!"
I said.
"Would you like to be our extra?" Diedrich asked me.
I hesitated. I thought about my schedule. But it would have to
wait. "I mean, if you're camera shy you don't have to do
it." Diedrich said quickly.
"Oh no! I'm not camera
shy at all! I love acting!" I said. Diedrich smiled.
"Good." He said. I
nodded at him.
***At Warner Bro. Studios***
"This is Liv." Diedrich
introduced.
"Hi Liv!" Christa
said.
"Hi." I said calmly.
"Are you ready for this?"
Ryan asked me. I nodded at him. I already knew him, so I was calm.
***On Air***
Drew was at Winfrid Louder by
his cubicle. Oswald, Lewis, and me came to his cubicle. I was
really shy. In the taping I mean. I said lines.
"Who's this?" Drew
asked Oswald.
"She's the bartender's
niece at the Warsaw." Lewis replied.
"I was there. Yeah. I shouldn't
be drinking though." I said, acting shy. The audience laughed.
So I said my lines, and the taping was over.
**Back at Diedrich's**
"You were good at the taping." Diedrich said to me.
"Thanks. My goal is to be an actress." I said to him.
"You'd be good at it too." He added.
"Thanks." I said.
I couldn't stop thinking about
Ryan. The way he picked me up after Mimi glued the floor, seeking
revenge after what I did. The audience nearly died of laughter.
And I was trying my best not to laugh as well. Then, all of a
sudden, I wanted to see Ryan.
