Familiar with the ways of the forest and tracking, Eridain takes the job of tracker, ranger, and guide to the Heroes. A bold warrior in his own right, Eridain has often found herbs or poultices which have saved the lives of many of the Heroes, particuarly Charystra. He has often come through for one of the Heroes in an hour of need, and has displayed bravery as an adventurer many times.
Even Eridain's misadventures can be an asset, proving quite humorous to the Heroes and lightening their spirits, especially his escapades while trying to find more of the addictive herb Chaiset, his one weakness, or when confronted by his most dangerous enemy: the angry and enraged (by Eridain's smell) Mighty Boar, the master of the forest who nearly took the entire group together (because they weren't looking) and made Shurakai fall on his sword, twice.
