    This photo was taken back in 1999 at the Chuang Ching Rd school in Taipei. I taught this class for 12 months.

    The 3000m Run
    		Meeting The Hippo Sports day is the big event. My The English school I work for holds an annual sports day in Taipei. There are running events, serious and silly races, cheer leader competitions, and The Tug o' War.
    It is a great fun day when all the branches meet together for a bit of fun and competition.
    I didn't realise how unfit I had become until the 3000m race. Sport isn't such a big deal in Taiwan, and the food here is great, it is quite easy to get out of shape and put on weight. "BE WARNED."
