Heaven Cover Heaven

Of all the folks in the mountain shacks, The Casteels were the lowest - the scum of the hills.

Heaven Leigh Casteel was the prettiest, smartest girl in the backwoods, despite her ragged clothes and dirty face... despite a father meaner than ten vipers... despite her weary stepmother, who worked her like a mule. For her brother Tom and the little ones, Heaven clung to her pride and her hopes. Someday they'd get away and show the world that they were decent, fine and talented - worthy of love and respect. Heaven Stepback

Then Heaven's stepmother ran off, and her wicked, greedy father had a scheme - a vicious scheme that threatened to destroy the precious dream of Heaven and the children forever!

Do you have an opinion about who's in the picture? Write to me.

"You are definitely right about it being Luke in Heaven. He was kinda stand-offish because he was never there for them... he was always running around."
- Samantha of Attic Sanctuary

"I would like to know why Luke seems so small compared to Sarah when he was the mean one. What do you think?"
- LNOYB@excite.com

"What I want to know is... throughout the entire series, Heaven is plagued by references to her mother (Leigh's) "silvery-blonde hair," and in the novel Web of Dreams, there is a mention of the fact that the doll, Angel, was made with her own hair. Why does the doll in the cover picture for Heaven have dark hair?"
- Katie at Smodel11@aol.com

"I was always just wondering why does Jane look so healthy? She is supposed to be amazingly skinny and sick."
