Please note that we have no official relationship whatsoever with the Run Tampa 2005 races, the Athens Summer Olympic Games, or their respective organizing committees. We are simply participants trying to get together to make it all just a little more fun. :)

There is no relationship express or implied with any organization or operation with the acronym PWC(n), and any similarity thereto is purely coincidental.

You are responsible for your own safety. Train well and run smart. Our organizers and volunteers are not responsible if you become ill or are injured or killed in any activity of, or related to, the Penguin Athletes Summer Challenge, the Penguin Athletes Fall Challenge, the Virtual Online Olympics, the Penguin Winter Carnival gatherings, and/or Run Tampa 2005.

Where will surplus registration funds go, if any remain after expenses?

Penguin Winter Carnival is a completely not-for-profit, volunteer event. Our fondest hope is to simply "break even". If any funds remain after expenses, the first $200 will be set aside as seed money for the next major volunteer-organized penguin running and workshop encounter and conveyed to the organizers of that event.

Subsequently, if any additional funds remain, they will be donated to the following running-related charities:
