LARGE CITY (20,000)
Weapons are permitted to be worn here by nobles and bodyguards, as well as merchant’s bodyguards, soldiers, knights and the like. The general populace may carry weapons but it attracts attention. Most visitors are disarmed of heavy weaponry at the gates if they appear questionable, but weapons can be purchased openly.

VERBOBONC (CAPITAL OF WESTERN DUCHY)
40,000 GP LIMIT
LARGE CITY
Verbobonc is heavily policed by its own marshals and guardsmen, as well as those from the capital city in the south. With the rising tension however, there is a great rift developed between the two forces, and while the marshals hold jurisdiction in the town, the south still holds much political power, as well as jurisdiction over the tradeway and the lands it passes through. Weapons in Verbobonc are worn openly only by the aforementioned guards as well as nobles, paladins, knights and clerics. Even merchants are disarmed of heavy weapons at the gates, but allowed to keep all bows and short swords and daggers as a sign of their station. Do to the increasing tension between the humans and the elves to the east, the elves are occasionally not accosted about their own weapons.
