soul grind - roll up to the ledge/rail and jump ontop of it. put your left sole on the ledge/rail and your place your right skate on so that the corner of the ledge/rail is grinding the middle of your frame. jump off and roll away.
makio - roll up to the rail with as much speed and confidence as possible. jump with both feet at the same time and place your soul foot onto the rail. keep your balance centered above that foot and hold your other skate. hop off and roll away.
