Hello, I was given to my Mommy on December 25, 1940 by my grandparents, Andy Nelson and Brookie Fay Meadows Sigmon before my grandfather was killed on February 2, 1941.
I wore a pink outfit consisting of top, pants and a pointed hat with white fur around it that tied under my neck.
Now, most people would have thought I was a girl but not my Mommy (Pauline Sigmon) for she knew I was a boy because at that time girls did not wear pants. So, even though I wore pink and pants I was a boy!
My Mommy literally loved me to pieces, in fact I was in seven pieces.
When my Mommy grew up she married my Daddy (Bob Pruett) and I have him to thank for my survival. He carried all seven pieces of me around in a bag wherever we went. They finally found a man who put me back together and now I am very proud of myself. I am not sure I am as proud as my Mommy and Daddy are, for they bought me a new outfit and a white cradle just for me. I now sit or lay in my cradle in our entrance room and when company comes my Daddy loves to show me off to everyone.
I am a very lucky little boy to have parents so proud of me and who love me so much.
