Petulah Pruett

    I am a very proud Cabbage Patch doll.  My Daddy (Bob Pruett) picked me out for my Mommy (Pauline Pruett) because he loved my red hair and pretty freckles.  My Mommy wanted a Cabbage Patch doll really, really bad so I feel special because he picked me from all the other ones in the store.

    Mommy baby sat with her grandson, D.J. Pruett from the time he was six weeks old till he was over twelve years of age.  D. J. loved me a lot and played with me all the time.  D. J.  was born in 1989 so I am older than he is.  He would get me by the arm and drag me all over the house and outside.  That is one reason I am so dirty today, but it is love dirt and that is okay.  He loved to take my clothes off and did it all the time. I think he just like my pretty little belly button, so finally Mommy just quit dressing me.  My outfit got lost and my Mommy and Daddy bought me a new one after D. J. decided he didn't want to play with me anymore.

    Now that D. J. is all grown up he says he, "never played with a doll and not a red headed one at that".  I am here on ht internet to the him and everyone else out there that he did play with me for several years and the he loved me too.

    I still love my Mommy and Daddy and my D.J. too.  He was my best playmate ever.  I really do believe D.J. loves me, don't you D.J.?
