 Carin and Darin Sigmon Pruett

We are not sure just how old we are but we do know we are pretty grown up.

Our first Mommy and Daddy (James and Louise Sigmon) had us for over fifteen or twenty years.  Then, our Mommy got real sick and passed away.  Our Daddy wasn't much for taking care of dolls, and twins especially, so he asked his niece (Pauline Pruett) if she would take us for he knew she would be good to us.

So, we now have a new home and new parents.  Bob and Pauline Pruett.

When our new parents got us I had on a pink sweater and cap and Darin had on blue ones.  This wasn't good enough for our new Mommy and Daddy, so one Sunday with nothing better to do they took off to the Mall and going to JC Penny's they bought us new outfits.  As you can see they dressed us alike and even bought new tennis shoes for us.  Mine are laced and tie with ribbon and Darin's with regular boy laces.

We love living with our new Mommy an Daddy and we now have lots of brothers and sisters.

Our Daddy went to our attic and got our Aunt Tiffany's baby cradle, cleaned it up and made it real sturdy so it won't fall down with us.  We look so cute sitting or laying in it, one of us on each side.

We are very modern for our ears are pierced.  I have pink earrings and Darin has blue ones.

We are so lucky to have our new Mommy and Daddy, and our old Daddy got to see us in our new home before he died and was happy he gave us to the right people.

Sometimes getting adopted can be a good thing, as in our situation.
