Hello fallschirmjagers,

I am an Norwegian weapons collector and I was wondering if some of you over there could help me with a question.

My problem is that I have a Mg 34 that is made at BSW(Berlin Suhler Waffen und fahrzeugwerke) in 1938. It is the only Mg34 from that factory I have seen or heard about, I know that BSW made a few rifles and machineguns for Mauserwerke but I can't find out anything else about that factory. Do any of you know anymore about the BSW?

My Mg34 comes from the battle for Narvik in 1940 when it was captured by Norwegian troops, and hidden away until found in 1993. I send photos of the gun and its markings.
