* EVENT DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE!

The NWHA sponsors a number of reenacting and living history events each year. Due to firearms restrictions, most reenacting events are held in Oregon. The two primary locations are Fort Stevens and Camp Rilea. Click on the underlined names to view detailed information about these locations. Below is information on scheduled events. Date, location, and event theme are listed with each. For more information on an event please contact the NWHA by clicking HERE. If you are a German reenactor please read the additional requirements for visitors by clicking HERE.

Notice: All NWHA events that are not for display purposes are closed to the public and spectators. This restriction is done for safety reasons as well as for historical realism. Non-NWHA participants MUST have prior approval and follow all the NWHA By-laws and safety rules. Click HERE to view a printable version of our Visitor's Letter.

  Camp Rilea

Address: Off US 101, 5 miles S of Ft. Stevens
(current weather)
Camp Rilea is an active Oregon National Guard facility providing training grounds for both regular and guard units from across the United States and Canada. Located some five miles south of Ft. Stevens, it has ample space and comfortable WW2-era barracks. The training grounds here include beach, heavy woods, and fields (criss-crossed with dirt roads and trails) as well as a 'village' for urban training. These excellent facilities have been made available for many of our tactical events.
