The Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society was founded in 1935. Since their conception, they have never turned away an animal in need. No abused animal was too far way, too costly to investigate, or not the type of animals they investigate crimes against.
Each year their case loads increase by 7 percent. Every day more than 50 new animals arrive at their shelter doors in need of care, shelter, and loving homes.
We must do our part to stop this cruelty. Just by spaying or neutering your pet, you can help decrease the number of animals abused, abandoned, and stray.
I would like to thank everyone at MACS. They devote a lot of time, love, and energy into saving animals. These dedicated volunteers see a lot of cruel situations, yet still have faith that there is kindness and a loving home out there.
