Sunburst was designed and tied by Contributing Fly Tyer John Wood. Take a look at his contributor page, The Flies of John Wood, to see many more of his flies.

John's Notes: This fly was inspired by the colors of my first Pacific Northwest sunrise. The design is intended to give the initial impression of an egg pattern and also be suitable for swinging. Although intended to be a steelhead pattern it has proved most successful for sea-run cutts.
